Ryan Edwards Podcast: Impressive Nuggets, Von Miller, and the domination of Jon Gray

Ryan kicked off the show with the Top 4 Trends and first up was the Broncos fan base collective “sigh of relief” that the Von Miller Saga is finished. Ryan talked about some of the details of the contract and process that has come out since Friday.

The second story was on the end of Summer League play for the Nuggets but how impressed Ryan was with the rookies Jamal Murray and Juancho Hernangomez. The hope is that Juancho is allowed to stay with the Nuggets this season and use the time to ramp up for next season.

In the third story, Ryan talked about the incredible Sunday battle at the British Open between Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson. Finally, the fourth story was on Joe Torre’s letter to MLB managers to stop arguing balls/strikes.

In the second segment, Arnie Stapleton (@arniestapleton) joined the show with his impressions of the Von Miller contract extension finally completed and what’s next for Emmanuel Sanders in his negotiations.

In the third segment, Jake Shapiro (@Shapalicious) joined the show with his impressions of the Rockies series win over the Braves, Jon Gray’s performance this season, and whether or not Walt Weiss should be the manager next season.

Finally, Ryan talked about the things he is looking forward to this week including the Rockies taking advantage of great home matchups against the Rays and Braves.
