My favourite minor league memory (Well, my only one!!) is when I visited the Staten Island Yankees last summer during my trip across the pond to watch the Rox. The ballpark has a terrific, intimate atmosphere and has stunning views across to Manhattan. That experience made me love baseball more than any major league experience had.

That’s good stuff. I’m quite glad you visited at that time because the Staten Island Yankees don’t start play until late June as they are in a short-season league.

Like Minor League Monday’s Patrick! Here in NC all we have are minor league teams. We tend to see more Durham Bulls games given where we live but am always thrilled to see a Tourists game whenever we are in Asheville.
