Well, that helped improve my excitement. Was really hard to get excited about the season with little news on Charlie.

While we don’t know what the Rockies can expect to get out of him for the duration of the abbreviated season, a less-than version of Blackmon is better than several of the younger, less proven players on the roster.
Ninth inning, down one, two runners on base… now batting, pinch hitter Charlie Blackmon. That is something to be feared by all nine teams they’ll play this season.
