On this episode of the BSN Rockies Podcast, Drew Creasman dives deep yet again into the mechanics of accounting for Coors Field when measuring hitters. We get a little news about a trade that could impact the division, talk about some player comparisons for Rockies prospects, and take a look at an entirely new element that Colorado added to their offense without anyone seeming to notice.

What will it take for Bud Black/front office to trust the young guys (Dahl/Tapia) as everyday staples in the lineup? At what point will their AAA experience and performance be enough? How much does the experience and salary of Desmond/Parra hold Dahl/Tapia back from regular starts in the outfield? Great work guys – I love the coverage!
I’ll preface this by saying I still need to read the Coors Field hangover article you keep referencing. I assume no one has done this, but I wonder what players’ numbers are like at the end of a road trip compared to the beginning. If the CFH is a real thing, it seems to me that players would be hitting better towards the end of a road trip. Obviously the problem with this is that I would assume road trips wear on players and it’s possible they hit worse the longer they have been on the road.
Also, I wonder if the offensive production of the Rockies opponents goes down in their first series after playing a series at #Coors.
Thanks, love what you guys do!
