RE: the OF defense & pitching
1. With all the construction in Lo-Do has anyone looked into changing wind currents as a possible factor in balls carrying more this year? (Can’t take full credit for this idea, Jack or Jerry briefly mentioned it the other day)
2. Has anyone asked the OFs if the new stadium lights have affected the way they pick up the ball off the bat?

1. That certainly seems reasonable. Since it’s already been proven the ball is traveling farther, thus creating more home runs, I don’t know if that still leaves a large portion of unexplained home runs. Some deeper numbers dive may be needed to answer this. Should something stand out, the air currents created by the new building would have to be the cause.
2. Guess who will be doing that today?
