A magical night and great article Drew. The main point for me is for the Rockies to learn not to “press.” Too many times last year they got real tight. That translates to ugly baseball. Perhaps the experiences, confidence and shift in culture will solidify go-forward. Go Rockies!

And lots of guys (Dahl and Blackmon come to mind) admitted to pressing in the NLDS. The belief that they truly belong could go a long way for this team. Cheers!

Great takes from Freeland. Can’t wait to wear my Homegrown shirt to spring training game!

That was an incredible game and probably the most intense Rockies game I’ve experienced in person… The Cubs fans were just deafening in the late innings every time the Cubs had traffic; it was a lot louder than I’d ever experienced in a baseball game before which really added to the stress level… I was amazed the Rockies were able to so consistently execute on both pitching and defense in that environment – major props to Freeland who in my book made himself a Rockies legend with that gutsy performance!

(and Wolters who achieved at least Jamey Carrol level of legend status)
