Colorado Rockies pitcher Antonio Senzatela has been named the National League Rookie of the Month.

Over 32 innings, the 22-year-old posted a 3-1 record with a 2.81 ERA for the month of April. He struck out 18 and walked seven. His only loss came against the red-hot Washington Nationals.

Senzatela was a surprise addition to the Rockies out of spring training after he pitched brilliantly despite having thrown fewer than 35 innings above the High-A level before 2017.
