That’s right, Weiss in channeling his inner Tony La Rusa and has Matzek hitting eighth.
The Rockies scored 20 runs in their opening series vs the Brewers so drastic lineup changes may seem unnecessary but with a lefty on the bump for the Cubs, replacing the struggling Blackmon and Morneau make sense.
In his third season as Rockies skipper, it looks like Walt Weiss is finally getting the chance to play with his own lineups with no restrictions from the front office.
