The Rockies 2015 starting rotation is starting to take shape.

The newly acquired Kendrick will get the nod opening day and the Rockies will save “Mr. Coors Field” Jorge De La Rosa for the home opener later in the week.
Kendrick signed a one year deal with Colorado in the offseason, after spending his first eight seasons with the Phillies. This will be Kendrick’s first ever start on opening day.
Weiss: “[Kendrick is] very professional, very efficient on the mound. He’s a veteran guy that’s pitched in big games.”

De La Rosa is one of the few Rockies pitchers that has had long term success pitching at Coors Field.
Weiss: “We always feel good when [De La Rosa is] on the mound, especially when he’s on the mound at our place.”

De La Rosa is just four wins from becoming the Rockies all time winningest pitcher in franchise history.
I would expect the rotation to look something like this to start the year.
1. R Kyle Kendrick
2. L Tyler Matzek
3. R Jordan Lyles
4. L Jorge De La Rosa
5. ????????? Stay tuned!
