The “If we stay healthy” narrative isn’t starting of so well for the Rockies.
On Jorge De La Rosa: “Other than playing catch, he’s pretty much shut down,” Weiss said. Unlikely he’s ready for start of #Rockies season.

De La Rosa has been battling a groin injury all of Spring Training, and will likely start 2015 on the 15 day DL.
This comes just days after the Rockies released their projected second best starter Jhoulys Chacin.
Kyle Kendrick is still slotted to start opening day for the Rockies, but the rest of the rotation is really up for grabs. With a day off in the first week of the season, the Rockies may not need a fifth starter until April 15th. Depending on how long De La Rosa is shelved, the Rockies could open the year with an extra bullpen arm or bench player.
If Jorge does miss extended time, its likely his and the now vacant spot of Chacin, would be filled by the likes of David Hale, and/or Christian Bergman, not Eddie Butler or Jon Gray.
Projected Starting Rotation
1. Kyle Kendrick R
2. Tyler Matzek L
3. Jordan Lyles R
4. David Hale R
5. Christian Bergman R
That rotation might be ok for a week or two, but longterm? Yikes.
