DENVER — With reports of Kyle Korver heading to Cleveland in a trade, the ball is rolling towards a full and total Atlanta Hawks rebuild. Many assume Paul Millsap, who has reportedly been made available by Atlanta, is the next piece to go.
According to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nuggets, along with the Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, and New Orleans Pelicans are all rumored suitors.
“Atlanta (19-16) is engaged in discussions with several teams on forward Paul Milsap, and the organization is motivated to move him sooner rather than later, sources said. Toronto, Denver, Sacramento and Philadelphia have expressed an interest in Milsap, who can become a free agent in July.”
Denver nearly acquired Millsap from the Hawks last summer in a package that reportedly included Kenneth Faried and draft picks.
This is a developing story.
