Danilo Gallinari‘s suitors continue to line up for his services.
A day after the Clippers and Gallinari reportedly set a free agent meeting for Sunday, the 6-foot-10 swingman is drawing interest from the Sacramento Kings, who have turned their attention towards him and big man Taj Gibson, according to USA Today’s Sam Amick.
The Kings come to the table armed with the cap space to at least come close to Gallinari’s reported asking price of four years and a $100 million. Gallinari would sign for slightly less than that figure according to a report, but Sacramento can certainly offer the 28-year-old more money than Los Angeles, who at this point would try and fit Gallinari into their mid-level exception.
Denver, who’s reportedly in pursuit of both Paul Millsap, who they have a meeting scheduled with Saturday, and point guard Paul George, wouldn’t have the available capital to offer Gallinari if they hit on both their targets.
But the Nuggets could circle back to Gallinari if their pursuit of one or both of Millsap, who’s also reportedly meeting with Minnesota Saturday and Phoenix Sunday, or Hill, falls through.
