With the 2017 NFL free agency market set to start at 2 p.m. MST, Denver has hit the ground running and reportedly will sign former Dallas Cowboy offensive guard Ronald Leary, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Leary, a 27-year old guard out of the University of Memphis, will ink his name to a four-year, $35 million dollar deal with $20 million guaranteed, barring any setbacks. The four-year veteran took over at left guard last season for La’el Collins and had a stellar season for Dallas, blocking for running back Ezekiel Elliott and paving the way for his league leading 1,551 rushing yards in 2016.

Leary has started 47 career games during his tenure in the National Football League and was ranked as the 16th best free agent on the market so Vice-President John Elway did not let the 6-foot-3, 320-pound run blocking guard stay on the market for long. Look for Leary to compete with fellow left guard Max Garcia and one of the two to slide into the right guard position in 2017.
