Football players are more than fun-loving freaks of nature, some are generous with their time, money and presence.

For Denver Broncos safety David Bruton Jr., the competition for a starting safety position is just about to heat up, as training camp kicks off Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m. But, Bruton’s found time to give back to local youth through his Bruton’s Book’s Foundation.

This Sunday, July 26, anyone can enjoy a bike ride with Bruton, Miles the Mascot and Broncos teammates while giving to the foundation at the same time. The ride will begin at Elevation Cycles in Highlands Ranch and will end at Fly N Bee Park and costs $20 per person, with 100 percent going to charity.

From their website: The Mission of the David Bruton Jr. Foundation and Bruton’s Books is to help low-income children in grades K-3 become strong readers through tutoring and by providing books to underfunded schools, libraries, and classrooms.

They encourage all first-third graders bring a book with them to donate to the less fortunate across the Centennial State.

Register for this wonderful event through brutonsbooks.org.
