BFFs? Yeah, you might say that.
Rashard Higgins and Garrett Grayson rewrote the Colorado State Rams football record books last year together; Grayson finished with 4,006 yards and 32 touchdowns while Higgins caught 96 passes for 1,750 yards and 17 scores.
And, that friendship continues to this day.
Evidence is found on twitter, where they’ve gone back and forth over the last year with an interesting “goat” theme. Is it that they are “GOATs” of their positions — greatest of all time at CSU at quarterback and receiver, respectively — or a play on the Rams mascot?
Either way, it’s pretty funny. Take a look at their back-and-forth fun in reverse chronological order:

Higgins is currently trying to lead Colorado State back to their third straight bowl appearance while Grayson is the backup quarterback of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints.
“Hollywood” Higgins and the Rams face New Mexico this week in a massive Mountain West match-up which kicks off at 3:30 p.m. MT, Saturday. The game will be televised on ROOT Sports Rocky Mountain.
And while a bowl game is the ultimate goal, neither head coach Mike Bobo nor the team is focused on the postseason; their eyes are on New Mexico.
