Rapids re-sign LaBrocca, Alvarez

The Colorado Rapids announced today they have re-signed midfielder’s Nick LaBrocca and Carlos Alvarez.

The club also agreed to a new contract with defender Marc Burch.

LaBrocca started 29 games for the Rapids in 2014 and will likely get ample opportunities to contribute in 2015.

“It is important to have players like Nick LaBrocca, Carlos Alvarez and Marc Burch on board. They understand our new mentality and the messages from last season. They have come in with the sharpness and the form to turn 2014 on its head. That will be critical for us this season.” said Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni.

The Rapids will open their season on March 7th, when they travel to play the Philadelphia Union.
