The Pac-12 is betting on Colorado State’s future and the league’s commissioner, Teresa Gould, believes it’s an investment that will pay off in the long run.
In a roundtable discussion with CSU representatives and various local media members, Gould spoke both on and off the record about the future of the league this past weekend. She also talked about what the vision is during a turbulent time for college athletics, and what exactly the Pac-12 is looking for when it comes to adding new members.
After spending a few days in Fort Collins, Gould raved over the atmosphere in one of America’s truly great college towns, citing the passion and commitment from the fanbase.
“The stadium is going to be packed today,” Gould said, ahead of the Border War.
“There is fandom and passion in this community. I was at the pep rally last night, and it was just unbelievable.”
