Juice Vereen looks like the next great Colorado State tight end.

There’s been a buzz around the UConn transfer since he got to campus in January. And fortunately for Ram Nation — unlike when certain transfer portal additions prove to be underwhelming — everything we’ve seen from Vereen has shown that the juice is worth the squeeze with this exciting fourth-year player.

A big-bodied, athletic mismatch, who can really run well in the open field, Vereen came on strong over the course of the 2025 season. In a couple of significant wins for the Huskies late in the year, including a pair of power 4 victories over Boston College and Duke, the athletic tight end produced monster performances.

Now slated to be a significant piece in CSU’s passing arsenal, potentially even the team’s best weapon, Vereen could be in line for an even bigger year with the Rams.

Following Tuesday’s practice, Vereen told DNVR that this is the best he’s felt physically going into a season in his collegiate career. “I feel like that makes a big difference,” he said.
