Jim Mora didn’t give any dramatic speeches this week. He didn’t pound the table or ramble on with a metaphor about going to war. But when Colorado State and Wyoming clashed for the 118th time on Saturday night, a game that had massive stakes on so many different levels, the Rams left no doubt over whether they were ready for moment.
Led by a five-touchdown performance from quarterback Hauss Hejny, the offense looked night and day from what we witnessed last year. The unit was explosive and created timely chunk plays. We saw way more playmakers involved in the attack too, as 11 different players caught passes, five recorded a carry and three caught touchdowns in the 35-13 win.
