The Colorado State Rams may be preparing for their final home game of the season, with UNLV coming to town this Saturday, but they’re also working hard to land new commitments.
One of whom announced on Twitter last night he’s joining the Colorado State Rams in 2016; cornerback Joseph Jackson.

Jackson, a sophomore, comes to Colorado State via Orange Coast College, a community college in California. In his freshman year, the defensive back recorded 67 total tackles with two interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. As a sophomore, he totaled 39 tackles, 28 of them solo, with four sacks and three interceptions, including a pick-six.
He stands at 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds and according to his Hudl page, Jackson runs a 4.40 40-yard dash. He certainly looks incredibly fast in this highlight tape, returning his first two interceptions for touchdowns.
Because he’s transferring from a community college, Jackson will be able to play immediately, in 2016. He’s one of three players from Orange County College who could possibly come to Fort Collins, defensive end Josh Odigie and cornerback Derrick Worthy are the others.
