In any level of football, you can never have enough pass rushers. Colorado State got a commit Friday from Livingston Paogofie, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound defensive tackle out of Bowie High School in Arlington.

Paogofie is listed as a two-star prospect by Scout.com. The CSU commit totaled 10 sacks in his senior season en route to being named the Texas Class 6A District 4 Defensive Player of the Year. Paogofie’s size and knack for getting to the quarterback could sway Mike Bobo into playing him at defensive end for the Rams.

CSU finished fourth in the Mountain West with 16 sacks in eight conference games. If Paogofie performs, he could very well find himself in the regular defensive rotation on Saturdays. Toby McBride and Arjay Jean, both freshmen last season, combined for 6.5 sacks.

Paogofie also received offers from Lamar, Texas State and Utah State.
