Overall a strong class aside from the unfortunate Senior Committee Nominee that even the most knowledgable fans have never heard of before.

Broncos fans have been clamoring for years to get Terrell Davis and former Safety John Lynch into the hall. Lynch will likely make it in before Davis as he had a larger body of work on his side along with a championship.

Jerome Bettis getting in may actually help Davis’ chances down the line as it takes away another player from his era to be in competition with at the running back position. Also as the requirements to get in the hall may have to change as the league continues to shift towards the passing game each season. TD’s 7607 career rushing yards may look minuscule for Hall of fame standards now, but the voters cant continue to overlook his 2000 yard season in essentially 14 games with all the quarters he sat out in Denver victories. Along with his 1140 rushing yards in 8 career playoff games along with a Super Bowl MVP to his credit.

Terrell will have to wait at least another year before he can finally give his “Mile High Salute” from Canton.
