Ah, spring of 2016. The birds are chirping, a light rain is falling in Fort Collins and things are progressing nicely.
Colorado State football head coach Mike Bobo is quickly entering his second season in his current position as spring practices begin at the end of the month, March 25 to be exact. Then, the annual Green and Gold Spring game kicks off on April 23 at 1 p.m. inside Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium.
But, it’s not just Bobo who is progressing, so is construction of the coming on-campus football/multi-purpose stadium. In fact, 2015 will be the final year of Hughes Stadium meaning this will be the final Spring Game, too.
Today, Colorado State AD Joe Parker tweeted this picture of the stadium from the air — we have it on good authority there will be aerial video, too — and it looks amazing.
Great aerial photo of the new stadium under construction. Go Rams! pic.twitter.com/S0A2U8oP7L

This is from the north looking south at the site. Our pictures, which were taken on Sunday, Feb. 28, were taken from Lake Street, the south side of the site and looking north.
We hope you enjoy and we’ll be stopping by the on-campus stadium from time to time to bring you many more updates, Ram Nation.
And finally, the PANO!
