For the second straight week, Peyton Manning‘s name will be among the others on the Denver Broncos injury report when it comes out for the first time prior to the Denver Broncos match-up against the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to multiple sources, Manning seemed to injure his foot Sunday in the 24-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
One of those sources was CBS4’s Vic Lombardi, saying the 18-year veteran quarterback is expected to play on Sunday, as it doesn’t seem to be something major.
Expect to see Peyton Manning's name on the injury report today. Foot injury. I'll share more details on the @FanMorningShow.

“Peyton Manning will be on the injury list today, with a foot injury,” Lombardi said on The Fan Morning Show. “Not sure when it happened or how it happened, it should not impact his availability for Sunday’s game.
“Let me add to this that there are a lot of guys in that treatment room this morning,” Lombardi continued. “It’s a MASH unit of sorts. Maybe 10-12 players that are in there getting treatment that could show up on the Broncos injury report.”
BSN Denver talked to one player that told us Manning has been in treatment but they didn’t know the extent of the injury yet, either. It looks like we’ll find out more today after the Broncos practice when the injury report is released. Either way, we will most likely have to wait until Sunday to see if the all-time great quarterback plays.
Last week, Manning was on the injury report with a right shoulder, seeing limited participation on Wednesday. But on Thursday and Friday, he was a full participant.
And we should all keep in mind that this is Peyton Manning. He rarely misses games or even snaps. In fact, he never missed a start until his neck surgeries in 2011 and he hasn’t missed a start since.
