My first thought is of course that Torrey Craig and MPJ would be “battling it out” for the 9th spot in the rotation and one or both would play depending on matchup/how they are playing/shooting. But with Grant in the mix, maybe Plumlee gets cut out and both of those guys play? Do you think there is a shot Plumlee would be out of the rotation?

On one hand – Malone likes to go with what he knows…which is Plum as the bench 5. But he did really shorten the rotation last year and Grant could soak up plenty of those minutes. And MPJ and Craig would both be able to get on the floor and more than likely be more effective than Plum. All depends on matchup, most likely, I suppose

I think what happens is Plumlee gets slotted for 5-10 minutes per game, but then based on the matchup maybe there are halves when he doesn’t play, like if they drew the Rockets.

Going into the playoffs I bet he gets the nod before MPJ if you’re putting together a 1-15 depth chart but it’s tough to see how against certain teams.Maybe it starts out that way and then evolves over the course of a series to the point where he’s behind MPJ?
