Is it just me or does it feel like the Malone needs an offensive “guru” on the staff to take this team to the next level? He’s a great coach but has never shown evidence of being able to put together a great offense which seems like it should be pretty easy with Jokic. It feels like the offense has gotten slightly worse every year since Finch left.
Maybe my feelings were just exacerbated by watching the Pelicans run a beautiful offense right after our offense which feels like it has devolved into pick and roll/wait for Jokic to create something.
I just miss watching the ball pop. Thoughts?
