In this episode of the BSN Denver Colorado Rockies podcast, Jake Shapiro and Drew Creasman jump into all the topics surrounding the team as they stand (stood) just a few games under .500 at the end of June.
The guys take an extended look at the Blue Jays series where Tory Tulowitzki retuned to Coors Field. They discuss the fan appreciation of the franchise great and the organization’s recognition of him.
Then, the guys get really high up on the Jeff Hoffman trade. Being the main piece in the Tulo blockbuster, the right-hander seems to be knocking on the door of the majors. The boys talk about if he is ready. They also ask the question of, could the Rockies get a similar package if they were to trade Carlos Gonzalez.
We wrap up by talking about how the Rockies need to piece games together better.
