Gentlemen: Here is a podcast suggestion. It is my belief the Nuggets won’t be able to use the 14th pick due to their mismanagement of the salary cap (Faried, Chandler, Arthur), nor would any smart GM be willing to give Denver a late first round pick in return for Denver’s 14th pick plus Faried, for example. That would be malpractice by that team. But I will play spin the draft pick game with you based on this premise: the number one requirement the Nuggets have is a true #3 whose primary attribute is defense. Please rank the best three or five defensive “threes” who might be available after the Clippers pick. The distant second requirement would be a back-up #1, whose best attribute after ball handling is offense, as the bench is so woeful. Please rank the best three or five offensive “ones” who might be available after the Clippers pick. Finally, rank all six – ten players in order of preference without regard to my interest in a #3 first and #1 secondly. Thanks for playing.
