In its Last Two Minute report released Saturday, the NBA said Caris LeVert lifted his pivot foot before beginning his dribble on the Nets’ final basket of regulation Friday, a game-winning runner from just inside the foul line with 0.3 seconds remaining that lifted Brooklyn to a 112-110 win.

The infraction was only observable in enhanced video.

“LeVert (BKN) lifts his pivot foot prior to the start of his dribble,” the league said.

The report also said that a shooting foul called on Jamal Murray with 56 seconds remaining in regulation which sent Spencer Dinwiddie to the foul line where he sunk both free-throws was an incorrect call. Including Dinwiddie’s two foul shots, Brooklyn scored the game’s last six points.

“Murray (DEN) does not make contact with Dinwiddie’s (BKN) body during his driving shot attempt,” the league said.

Last season, the Nuggets were among the teams who were disadvantaged the most by incorrect calls or incorrect non-calls that showed up in Last Two Minute reports according to data compiled by The Pudding and FiveThirtyEight.com.

“I do (read the report) just for curiosity’s sake,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said last season. “You see if all the calls I think they blew, if I was right or not. And really, what’s the purpose of the last two-minute report? You have to give the league credit because I think the main objective of the last two-minute report is to show all the fans across the country how transparent the league wants to be. That if we do make a mistake, we’re willing to own up to that mistake. So on that front, you can applaud the effort of being transparent and admitting when errors have been made.”

The Nuggets and Nets were called for a combined 52 personal fouls and shot 76 free-throws Friday night. Denver wishes the officials would have blown their whistles once more, at the end of regulation.
