I think Plumlee guarding Davis is worth an extended look in Game 2 and beyond. Also, counterbalancing the Jokic/Plumlee minutes together could be MPJ at shooting guard. Jokic will help MPJ get easier and more buckets via passing and cutting; and Plumlee can provide energy and physicality defensively to protect Jokic from getting into early foul trouble. Malone has been great in the bubble playoffs of deciding which lineup can be most effective in the 4th quarter. Jokic and Murray are the NBA best in clutch–Plumlee and MPJ can be the X-factors in the Laker series to shock the NBA again…
