Like Kalen, i have always been a Faried fan. Despite that, i agree that it is time for him to go/. Any ideas on what you would want in return? With Harris playing well, it’s hard to pick out the most obvious hole in our lineups…

I was kicking around ideas with some guys the other night. My favorite was to Portland for Moe Harkless and Aminu.

Sounds good if it helps us secure our 1st round pick from Portland. But despite our front court logjam, it never seems like we acually have enough healthy bodies for a logjam.

That’s a good point on the injuries. Aminu can play some small ball PF and is a defender that Malone would love. Tough decision looming for the Nuggets.

Quite frankly, Connelly still is hopeful about the Nurkic/Faried combo once the Bear returns so any advanced trade talks will not occur until he sees how the overall C/PF combinations and playing time work out (or not) with Nurkic back through at least 30 games.

Yeah, I think even with seeing it the same conclusion will be drawn, but we’ll see.

I think we need farried. Farried is a hustle energy guy that can get the crowd hype. Having fans standing on their feet screaming can effect teams. I dont think he should start, i dont think we should get rid of him either. Getting a hall of fame PF in free agency or the draft & having farried come off the bench is what the nuggets need.

Another side point is let us see how the Nuggets play without Faried. Not looking good against the 3/5th Spurs. We need all the higher FG% guys we can get. Lauvergne and Faried will help. Malone’s primary coaching job right now is to channel Mudiay’s focus in practice and in games away from the random fadeaway/hanging shots to 500 quick jumpers off the pick and roll from 12-16 ft range along with a few floaters and post ups, but within structured plays so he can develop consistency and real confidence. The real issue is if Mudiay shoots 40-42%, the offensive efficiency of the whole team would increase and the Nuggets would be over .500 right now.
