You guys don’t like to hear this, but the solution is for Denver to become a young and uprising team. Trade Gallo and Faried, they won’t take us anywhere and take away minutes Jokic in particular needs (as a 4). Give as many minutes to Nurkic, Jokic and Lauvergne as possible, make DA the serviceable sub big man.

Fans know what they get with Gallo and Faried as the stars – not much. This can’t be changed. They are complimentary pieces, not difference makers. Nurkic and Jokic are difference makers and possibly stars in their own right. Whoever can’t see that Jokic is the most talented of this bunch and the one with the most positive on-the-court contribution is not paying attention.

I don’t care for .500 teams. This is not even a .500 team with Gallo taking 18 shots a game. Never will happen.

Thanks for the comment Thomas,

I’m all for giving Jokic and Nurkic as many minutes as possible, but Jokic isn’t a four, he’s a five in my eyes and Malone’s.

I do agree that trading Faried would be an interesting and probably beneficial move and the front office will definitely evaluate all their options at the deadline – that includes Gallinari.

Great analysis…this is the most important breakdown for our roster…Faried has to improve his defensive rating if he wants to stay in Denver long term…the Frontcourt Logjam is being avoided right now with Lauvergne sitting-which is smart until a Final Decision is made on Faried…the team scenario which deems Faried tradeable is much easier to follow when ARTHUR plays productively…Malone is giving Arthur the opportunity to increase his minutes in the rotation right now…the Golden State win at home shows that the Nuggets overall talent is better than their current record. Kudos to Malone for navigating the lineup changes based upon injury and output. I still think the Nuggets can get the 8th seed.

Who have we traded that are now on contending teams?
