Denver Nuggets starting shooting guard Gary Harris will be sidelined up to four weeks with a right foot injury, coach Michael Malone said at practice Tuesday.

Harris injured his foot in Denver’s 95-106 loss to the Detroit Pistons Saturday and removed himself from the game in the final minute of regulation. Harris did not play in the Nuggets 112-105 loss in Portland Sunday.

With Will Barton still sidelined with a sprained ankle, this is a huge blow to Denver’s backcourt. Depending on if Barton can get healthy during the Nuggets four-game homestand which starts Wednesday when Phoenix visits Denver, Jamal Murray and Malik Beasley are in for a jump in minutes.

Barton “looked good” in practice Monday, according to Malone and got through portions of practice Tuesday. He’s listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against Phoenix.
