Last season, Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye launched the Road Trippin’ podcast where the two Cleveland Cavaliers talked with teammates and notable figures around the league about basketball and a slew of other topics and current events, usually over a glass or two of wine.

With Jefferson signing in Denver with the Nuggets at the onset of the 2017-18 season, the podcast was reborn under the name “Road Trippin’: Richard vs. Channing,” and the new format features the two hosts giving their opinions on similar topics. Jefferson’s first episode includes Heat forward Justise Winslow and was recorded when Miami was in town last week.

Along with Nuggets in-game reporter Katy Winge, who will join Jefferson whenever he records from Denver, the two discuss a number of topics including Duke, (Jefferson isn’t the biggest fan of the Blue Devils), Winslow’s teammates and basketball lineage, life in the NBA, Winslow’s small hands, the NCAA and more.

Throughout the season, Jefferson will host the podcast with Nuggets players as well as other personalities from around the league and sports.

The other side of the Road Trippin’ podcast involves Frye and Cavs broadcast personalities Allie Clifton and Rafael Hernandez Brito. The Atlanta Hawks have also launched their version of a podcast with teammates Kent Bazemore and Mike Muscala, and host Annie Finberg. Their first episode dropped this week and features Hawks principal owner Tony Ressler.

Cavs legends Austin Carr and Jim Chones joined Frye in their first episode under the rebrand.
