The NBA draft combine ends on Sunday and as the weekend rolls on, reports hinting at which players interview with specific NBA teams leak out via various sources.
Mike Waters of Syracuse.com, reported earlier today that the Nuggets spoke with Syracuse guard Malachi Richardson sometime this week.
Richardson, a 6-foot-6 guard who just finished his freshman year at Syracuse, averaged 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and just over a steal per game for the Orange this year. He also shot 35.3 percent from three.
The 20-year-old is projected as a fringe first-round prospect and was reportedly still undecided on whether to stay in the draft or head back to school. If Richardson was given a first round guarantee, he would keep his name in the draft and ESPN.com’s Chad Ford reports the guard will do just that.
Both Malachi Richardson & Cheick Diallo told teams in interviews today that they've decided to stay in the draft.

Richardson measured well at the combine at just over 6-foot-6 in shoes and a 7-foot wingspan. His stock rose during the NCAA tourney earlier this year when Syracuse upset No. 1 seeded Virginia in the Elite Eight. Richardson had 23 points and 7 rebounds in 36 minutes.
Richarson, who’s an older freshman at 20, has a well-built body and is a plus athlete with a smooth jumper. He can finish through contact at the rim and excels in one-on-one situations on the wing, but struggled with his decision-making at times during his Freshman year at Syracuse.
NBA teams request 30 players who they would like to interview at the combine, but only get to speak with 18 of the 30 they selected. Prospects are allowed to interview with up to 13 NBA teams for 30 minutes at a time.
I wrote about some of the prospects the Nuggets have already met with here, and Denver will also start to schedule individual and group workouts at Pepsi Center in the coming weeks.
