Denver Nuggets second-year big man Jusuf Nurkic had surgery on his left patella tendon this past May, but you would never know the Bosnian was on the operating table just five months ago from the video below.
Hey @Broncos! We know you're 4-0, but if you need a 7-foot receiver, we know a guy… #BosnianBeast #Nuggets http://t.co/56GEz5zGBK

The Nuggets don’t have a firm timetable on when Nurkic will be back on the court, and head coach Michael Malone let the cat out of the bag at media day when he said that the 7-footer “had a procedure this summer on his knee and [Nurkic] won’t be ready to start the season.” Malone clarified that Nurkic is “out” indefinitely.
General manager Tim Connelly also commented that the 21-year-old is “ahead of schedule” and the team will “err on the side of patience” with the big man.
It’s great to see Nurkic, who averaged an impressive 6.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game and was named to the NBA’s all- rookie second team last year, doing some sort of physical activity after taking this past summer off to rehab his knee.
