Von Miller is a quarterback sacking machine. And after enjoying a fantastic 2014, Miller earned the respect of his peers to jump 43 spots up the list which annually ranks the best players in all of football.

The fifth-year pass-rushing master was recently voted as the No. 33 best player in the NFL, a list which is compiled through votes from players. It’s certainly an honor and Miller became the third Denver Broncos player to make the list, with Emmanuel Sanders (91) and DeMarcus Ware (87) also named. Julius Thomas (45) is there, too, for what he accomplished last season in the Mile High City, but he’s moved on to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

2013 was the most difficult professional season for Miller to date; it started with much negative attention and that six-game suspension, ending with a torn ACL mid-year. 2014 was his rebirth.

Last season, Miller was again a menace for opposing tackles and quarterbacks alike. His speed rush, in which he dips down low to go down and around would-be blocks, is the best in the game. But don’t think he won’t power-rush and even spin inside from time to time, keeping everyone guessing.

Miller racked up 14 sacks in 2014, second-most in his career and a Broncos’ best for the season. He also forced a fumble and recovered one while defending two passes.

Of course, it’s not just about the raw numbers for Miller, but his raw dancing skills, as well. He’s a monster on the gridiron and he’s one of the most entertaining football players in the league with his sack dances, which are constantly evolving.

What’s maybe most exciting for Broncos fans is his ceiling is still not in sight. Von Miller’s game, like his dancing, is ever-expanding as he’s proving to be one of the best sack artists the league has ever seen.

All that needs to be said about him can be heard in the words of his peers. Check out his wonderfully produced highlight video which debuted on NFL Network last night.
