Social media, and Twitter specifically, is an interesting place. Some use it as a medium to learn and disseminate information. Some users are bullies, while others use it mostly for fun. But, the best accounts are ones which are entertaining, engaging, fun and yet serious; the NFL and Broncos’ official accounts are doing a wonderful job of doing it all.
When the Broncos’ account tweets something, it has a feel of legitimacy as the news is coming straight from the horse’s mouth. Their brand representation is phenomenal, as is the NFL’s account, which consistently highlights different teams, players and coaches, rotating through the league.
Late Thursday night, the NFL tweeted out a story about the Denver Broncos.

What happened next was fun, funny and a superb use of the social media platform.
