Colorado State Rams football is on the rise, both at the NCAA and NFL levels.
Multiple former Rams players made massive impacts on the 2015 season, including Crockett Gillmore, Shaquil Barrett and Weston Richburg. We’ll give you some in-depth information on all the former Rams in the NFL this year in a later post, but for now, you have to watch Richburg’s man-handling of opponents all season long.
A special shoutout and thanks goes to Brandon Thorn, who specializes in scouting offensive linemen and is a must-follow for NFL fans who want to know more about how the o-line works. He’s constantly posting vines showcasing players from all across the league, explaining what they’re doing and how they can improve. And, for those NFL enthusiasts, also follow O-Line Scout on Twitter, who put Richburg’s highlight tape together.
For Richburg, who was snubbed a Pro Bowl roster spot according to Thorn and others, this highlight tape is tremendous! Look at the fight, the raw intensity from the blocks Richburg is throwing. A personal favorite is the second to last play in which he drives a player some 35 yards or more and makes it look like a man (Weston) versus a baby.
Richburg, who played guard at Colorado State, has moved over to center (No. 70) for the New York Giants. Enjoy!
