Irving compiled 46 tackles in the 8 games he started for Denver in 2014, before suffering a season ending knee injury. Irving was ranked 22nd out of 60 qualified players in Pro Football Focus’ inside linebacker rankings.
With Irving’s departure, Von Miller and Virgil Green are the only two players remaining on the roster from Elway’s first draft class in 2011.
