Over the last two years, four Colorado State Rams have been drafted into the NFL. One of them might just blow up in Baltimore.
Crockett Gillmore, a CSU tight end from 2010-13, is catching on quickly at the next level. On Saturday night, during the Baltimore Ravens – Washington Redskins preseason game, the second-year tight end made a highlight reel worthy catch, run and diving touchdown.
The only thing that makes this video better is his brother Austin, also a former Rams football player, tweeting it with a #comeonman.

Post-game, Crockett Gillmore called linebacker Keenan Robinson, who he trucked on his way to pay dirt, a “mosquito.” Unfortunately for Gillmore, the TD was called back due to a penalty.
Gillmore was named first-team Mountain West following his senior season at CSU, participated in the East-West Shrine Game and was drafted by Baltimore in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Last year as a rookie, he played in 15 games with one start, catching 10 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown.
His role is expected to increase this season, so be on the lookout for some highlights by the former Rams tight end soon!
