Espn draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. released his mock draft 2.0 this morning.
Kiper has Denver going with inside linebacker Denzel Perryman from Miami with the 28th overall pick in the draft. Perryman ranked second in the ACC each of the last two season’s in solo tackles.
Here are some highlights of Denzel destroying opposing running backs.
Perryman impressed scouts at this years Senior Bowl and is said to be able to play multiple positions in a 3-4 scheme. The Broncos certainly need to address the inside linebacker position this offseason, depending on how current players adapt to Wade Phillips 3-4 scheme.
Perryman was also a 2013 & 2014 Butkis award finalist, awarded to the nations top linebacker.
