Mike Bobo rewards his Rams with a treat

Life, friends, is all about balance.

Head coach Mike Bobo has to balance the relentless drive for wins with the fact he’s in charge of young men who love to have fun.

It’s summer, the time for pool parties, camping, fireworks and, ice cream! Of course, life as a college athlete means taking less time away from responsibilities than an average student and the Colorado State Rams football team has been putting in work both in the gym and the practice fields.

Bobo decided to reward them last Wednesday as he cruised up on campus in an ice cream truck:

“Ice cream, boys, ice cream!” Bobo yells as he sticks his head out of the truck’s delivery window.

This is good old fashioned fun at its finest; hopefully this fun-loving attitude helps Bobo bond with his players more quickly.
