Max Garcia: A leader who brings more flexibility to the Denver Broncos offensive line

Max Garcia was the anchor on a Florida offensive line that would need him to play multiple positions during his time there. The gentle giant that was loved by so many fans and teammates for his kind demeanor off the field is known as a monster on it.

In 2011, Max started all 12 games for Maryland at left tackle. He would transfer to Florida and have to sit out all of 2012 because of NCAA transfer rules but when he returned to the football field in 2013, he would start 7 games at left guard and 5 at left tackle. Coming into his Senior year, he was named a captain even though he had entered the program as a transfer. The captain started all 12 games but this time as a center – a dominant one.

Max brings more versatility to the Denver Broncos offensive line. Kubiak believes in getting his top five players on the field and this is another player that allows him to do that. As far as play style, Max Garcia is a mauler who is comfortable getting to the next level and and loves to hand fight in the scrum. His pass blocking and pulling ability will need some improvement but I think Kubiak and company have themselves one hell of a player in Max Garcia that has the foundation to grow into a dominant force in the middle.
