Manning wins Bart Starr award, still uncertain about future

The Broncos may not be in the Super Bowl, but their Quarterback is winning awards in Phoneix. Peyton Manning was honored this morning at the 28th annual Super Bowl Breakfast as he was presented with the Bart Starr award.

“I’ve always had the greatest admiration for Bart Starr because of his leadership, integrity and success as an NFL quarterback,” said Manning.  “To be recognized with this prestigious honor named after Bart and voted on by my peers is very humbling.”

Manning was of course asked about his future and was non committal one way or another. Manning said he has been in contact with the new coaching staff and “enjoyed his visit” with new head coach Gary Kubiak.

Manning has until March 9th when the league year ends to make his decision.
