Nathan MacKinnon nets the shootout winner for the Colorado Avalanche as they go 3 for 3 with Necas and Nichushkin also scoring. Those would be the only times a forward found the back of the net as Sam Malinski would be the Avs only goalscorer in regulation. This was somehow enough to beat Edmonton.
