Kubiak added that he will absolutely “do what’s best for the team,” regarding his QB situation. As the coaches will spend the next few days preparing for their impending matchup against the Texans, Chiefs or Steelers, the players are taking their bye week rest early and will be returning to the facility on Thursday. Kubiak wants the team focused on football this weekend. When the team returns, Kubiak said he will absolutely make his plan clear to them and they “wont be left in the dark,” on anything.
“Our players will not be in the dark. I think our players deserve a lot of credit because they’ve responded to both (Manning and Osweiler)”

Other News and notes
Despite the potential turmoil surrounding the oft talked about QB controversy, Kubiak is keeping a positive outlook. “It’s Enjoyable,” Kubiak said. “This game is tough on everybody but you do it to get to the point we’re at today.”
A less talked about in game adjustment lineup change that paid off yesterday was inserting Tyler Polumbus at right tackle, replacing the struggling Michael Schofield. Kubiak wouldn’t commit to either as a starter for the divisional round of the playoffs but did say “Ill go back to knowing everyone is going to play,” and that it will be determined in the next few weeks. He also added that the starter at right tackle will not be linked to whoever the starting quarterback is.
The Broncos will return to work Thursday to start preparing for their divisional round matchup where they’ll host the lowest remaining seed on January 17th 2:40p.m. at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
