Kapri Bibbs waived by Broncos, Richard Gordon re-signed

For Kapri Bibbs, his stay in the NFL was short-lived.

Bibbs, who was moved up from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday, has been waived by the Denver Broncos. When he was activated, tight end Richard Gordon was let go. Now, Gordon has been re-signed and Bibbs has been let go.

Bibbs was a star at Colorado State University in 2013, his lone season with the Rams, when he ran for 1,741 yards and 31 touchdowns. His speed and quickness impressed at the college level, where he was able to shake defenders with ease and juke them out of their shoes as he left them in his dust on the way to the end zone.

But at the NFL level, he’s not had much a chance to gain traction. In Sunday’s game, Bibbs played zero offensive snaps with 19 special teams plays and one kickoff return for 15 yards.
