National Signing Day took place nearly three weeks ago, but that hasn’t stopped Mike Bobo from adding to what’s been dubbed one of the top recruiting classes in the Mountain West. It was announced late Monday afternoon that Colorado State signed junior college transfer Jamori Fox.

The 6-2, 300-pound defensive lineman recorded 16 tackles and half a sack last season at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa. Fox redshirted the 2015 season at Butler Community College in Kansas after starring at Cherokee High School in Georgia, where he earned second-team all-region honors.

Bobo’s newest addition to the program joins a list of defensive linemen that includes Corte Tapia, Christian Howard, Livingston Paogofie and Ellison Hubbard. Fox, who visited CSU several days ago, also held offers from Lamar, Prairie View A&M and Stephen F. Austin.

With the signing of Fox, the 2017 recruiting class for Bobo and the Rams now sits at 28 players.
