Next Level Rams, they’re seemingly everywhere!
We know one former Colorado State receiver will be selected in the upcoming NFL Draft — Rashard Higgins (read his Draft Profile here) — and it looks like another former CSU wideout is gaining attention as well.
According to NFL Draft Diamonds, Joe Hansley will work out for the Denver Broncos during their “local day” on Tuesday, April 12.
We are learning that Colorado State wide out Joe Hansley will attend the #Broncos local day

Hansley, from Highlands Ranch, was the 2011 Gatorade and Scout.com Colorado High School Player of the Year in 2011 and then excelled in Fort Collins with the Rams. As a freshman, we got a taste of his ability both as a receiver and a punt returner with his electric 76-yard return versus Hawaii. In 2013 as a sophomore, Hansley scored three different ways; he caught a touchdown, threw one on a fake field goal and then returned one 74 yards to the house versus Colorado.
He remained one of the Rams’ most reliable receivers throughout his career, finishing with 136 receptions for 1,842 yards and 12 touchdowns. Hansley added three more touchdowns on punt returns, two of them coming against Fresno State last season as he was a major reason the Rams won that contest.
The 22-year old has proven his versatility throughout his career and the Denver Broncos — who employ Ty Sambrailo, Shaquil Barrett and Kapri Bibbs, all former Rams — may be looking at him both as a slot receiver and for his speed on punt returns. Broncos punt returner Omar Bolden recently left for the Chicago Bears, so they’ll need someone back there starting in 2016.
